Debra Vocke

Debra Smith Vocke, 68, of White Lake, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in a tragic accident.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thaddeus M. Smith, Jr. and Annie Lee Atkinson Smith. Debra is survived by her sister, Jan Smith Lassiter of Raleigh; aunt, Judy Gooden; first cousins, Viki Gooden and Kim Gooden, both of Raleigh, NC; a special cousin, Kathy Atkinson of White Lake, NC; aunt, Dorothy Watkins and first cousin, Glenn Watkins of White Lake, NC.

Anyone who knew Debra knew her love of dogs and cats. She also leaves behind two special canines, Haley and Bentley.

Debra was a nature lover that didn't even want to harm a snake. She taught aerobics until she developed lupus and could no longer teach. She also served on the White Lake town board in an effort to clean up yards in the area.

Due to Covid-19, a private service will be held by the family at a later date.
