Delma Lea Moore, age 75, of Bladenboro passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents: Fletcher Autry and Pearl Pervine Autry, one brother: Dewitt Autry and one sister: Viola Wiggins.
Delma leaves behind one son: John Dean Adams Jr. of Smithfield; four daughters: Crystal Adams of Bladenboro; Vicky Adams of Holden Beach; Rena' Burdick and husband Nathan of Raleigh; Stacy Simmon and husband Eddie of Faytteville; one brother Bob Autry of Elizabethtown; three sisters: Sara White and husband Leonard of Bolivia; Diann Thompson and husband Tommy of Elizabethtown; Mary Jane Howell and husband Richard of Clarkton and Melba Atkins of Elizabethtown; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Delma was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was very unselfish and compassionate about making others happy. Delma would give the shirt right off her back to help someone in need. She loved to keep everyone fed and was known as the mom to all that entered her home. She will deeply be missed.
A Memorial Service to honor her memory will be held on Thursday, August 30th at 5:00 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Richard Priest officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
