Dennis Dagenhart

Dennis Alan Dagenhart, 69, of Elizabethtown passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Frances Dagenhart; and his brother, Clyde Dagenhart, Jr. He is survived by his spouse, Virginia B. Dagenhart of the home; a sister, Donna Dagenhart of Eden; two nieces and one nephew; and one great-niece.

Dennis had a passion for music. He taught piano and was music director for Trinity United Methodist Church as well as with White Lake Baptist Church for many years. He was a mentor for many young people and loved to help children.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay Winston and the Rev. Walter Hayes officiating.
