Dewayne Hester

Dewayne Hester age 39 of Bladenboro passed away on Friday June 8, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Thomas Hester. He is survived by his mother Elfriede Juricek Hester of Bladenboro; wife, Tammie Tyree Hester of the home; two daughters, Haley and Hannah Hester of the home; two brothers, Jamie Charles Hester of Wilmington and Kenneth Thomas Hester of Lumberton.



Mr. Hester was a Deputy with the Bladen County Sheriff\\'s Department and previously served as an Officer with the Elizabethtown Police Department.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Life Center, officiated by Rev. Thomas Whray and Rev. Larry Hayes. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
