Dolly Vanderhall

Mrs. Dolly Mae Blue Vanderhall was called home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2009. She was born August 9, 1969 in Elizabethtown, NC to Albert Moore and the late Edna Mae Moore of Clarkton, NC.



She attended Clarkton High School in Clarkton and then served in the U.S. Army from June 15, 1988 to June 25, 1991 through Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the Division Signal Platoon.



She received an Associate in Applied Science degree of Nursing from Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, NC on May 26, 1995. She also received her Registered Nurse Diploma from the NC Board of Nursing on June 27, 1995.



On September 2, 2000, she was joined in marriage to Mr. Terry Eugene Vanderhall. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clarkton, NC.



She leaves to cherish fond memories her husband, Terry E. Vanderhall of the home; father, Albert Moore, brother, Gregory Moore of Clarkton; sister, Shannon Moore of Raeford, NC; four sisters-in-law, Mary Ruth McCallum of Dillon, SC, Dixie Graham and husband Kenneth, Jeannetta Southern, all of Rowland, NC and Cheryl Jones and husband Samuel of Fairmont, NC; two brothers-in-law, Jeffery L. Vanderhall of Charlotte, NC, Reginald L. Vanderhall of Rowland, NC; six aunts, Doris Blue of Clarkton, Virginia Wheeler and husband Hebert of Fayetteville, NC, Pearlene Sadler and husband William of Fayetteville, NC, Daphne Rodie and Floris Blue of New York, Louvenia Berry of Michigan; an uncle, Roy Blue of Clarkton; a god-child, Ta'zhawn Jones of Fairmont; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
