Dorinda Causey

Dorinda Leigh Lamb Causey, 63, of Lumberton, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.



The family will receive friends at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home on Friday, April 15, from 6:00 until 8:00PM; other times, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Sykes of 416 W.18th St., Lumberton, NC.



Services will be held at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home on Saturday, April 16, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.



Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery, Old Boardman Road.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Dougle Chester Sykes and Dolly Willoughby Sykes; and two brothers, Cletus and Leonard Sykes.



She is survived by her two sons, Garett Lamb and wife, Rhonda, of Lumberton, and John Lamb of Conway, SC; her husband, Franklin Causey; step-sons, Frank and Scott Causey of Loris; step-daughter, Christy Allsbrook of Loris; two brothers, R.D. Sykes of Lumberton, and Don Sykes of Moscow,TN; two sisters, Argie Mae Smith of Bladenboro and Van Greene of Shallotte; five grandchildren: Candance and Alysia Lamb, Tyler Lamb, Blake Benton and Alexa Laskowski; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and also, her devoted nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
