Doris Catalano

Doris Leigh (Marie) Catalano, 81, of Elizabethtown died peacefully at her home in Elizabethtown, NC, on December 4, 2014.

She was born October 20, 1933 in Lumberton, NC to the late Alexander and Ethel Stephens Lamb. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home at 11:00 am with visitation to follow.

Mrs. Catalano is survived by her husband of fifty years, Thomas S. Catalano of the home, her children, David Ward of Aurora, NC, Janine C. Stewart of Bandera, TX, Edward Bachtel of ID, Chris Kralevic of Muskegon, MI, and Philip A. Catalano of San Francisco, CA; two sisters, Peggy Hurley of Bladenboro, NC, Sharon James of St. Pauls, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by sisters Helen Howard, Ruth Williamson, brother Stephen Wayne Lamb, and son, Gary R. Ward.

She had a lifetime passion for family, children, and the Catholic Church.
