Doris Collier

Doris Edwards Collier, age 91, of Clarkton entered eternal rest on June 18, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her parents:  Henry Hunt and Mamie Gandy Hunt, husband Daniel Edwards and her siblings:  Ralph Hunt, James Hunt, Pauline Moore, Helen Pendagraph, Virginia Herald, and her twin sister Dorothy Dyer.  She is survived by her four children: Betty Kinlaw, Gail Arnette, Kay Edwards, Wanda Helms (Barry), nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.   She attended First Baptist Church in Clarkton where she was a member of the Adult Ladies Class as long as her health permitted.  The family will receive friends at the home of Barry and Wanda Helms, 8832 US Hwy 701 South, Clarkton NC 28433.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM  in the Clarkton City Cemetery with Rev. Mark Miller officiating.
