Doris Suggs

Doris Russ Suggs age 93, formerly of Bladen County, died Thursday, July 6, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care in Lexington, SC. She is preceded in death by her husbands, William C. Russ and George Suggs; a son, Harris Russ and a sister, Betty Becker Richardson.



She is survived by a son, Lewis Russ of Riegelwood; a daughter Sylvia Kay Russ Andress of Lexington, SC; a sister Frances Mercer; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Bladenboro Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Bert Young. The burial will be conducted at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kelly.



The family would like to acknowledge Nora and Jill and their staff at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care for the excellent care given to Mrs. Suggs.
