Dorothy Sanderson

Dorothy Sanderson, age 78, of Bladenboro, NC died Saturday, November 15, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Isham Monroe Cribb and Daisy Cartrette Cribb; her husband, Stafford Thurston Sanderson; and a brother, Howard Monroe Cribb.



Mrs. Sanderson is survived by five daughters, Barbara Bass Bryan and husband, Arnold and Patricia Bass McKnight and husband, Lloyd all of Bladenboro, Sue Bass Cowan of Welcome, NC, Freida Bass McLean of Homosassa, Florida and Lisa Sanderson Rabon of Thomasville; a sister, Litta Pearl Graves of Ocean Isle; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.



Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at White Oak Baptist Church in Bladenboro at 2:00 pm and will be officiated by the Rev. Dr. Bobby Carden and Rev. Junior Tyler.Burial will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville, NC on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and at other times at the home of Patricia and Lloyd McKnight, 105 Sycamore St. in Bladenboro.
