Edith Durden

Edith Durden, 69, of Bladenboro, died Monday, November 13, 2006 at Bladen County Hospital.



Born March 5, 1937 in Bladen County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cealia Bridgers.



She is survived by her brothers, A.D. Bridgers of Wilmington, James Bridgers of Clarkton, and Bob Bridgers of Shallotte; and sisters, Dorothy Batten of Clarkton, Elizabeth Cheshire of Asheboro, and Gloria Lupton of New Bern.



The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clarkton City Cemetery.
