Edward Hildreth

Edward Franklin Hildreth, age 80 of Clarkton, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 in his home. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Hildreth and parents, John and Anna Hildreth; two sisters and one brother. He is survived by two daughters, Robin Hildreth of the home and Betty Williams of White Oak; four brothers, Andrew Hildreth of Polkton, Clyde Hildreth of Wadesboro, Basel Hldreth of Pink Hill, and J.T. Hildreth of Peachland; three sisters, Frances Turner of Pink Hill, Rachel Hancock of Kinston, and Dorothy Carpenter of Polkton; seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 10:00 to 10:45 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery.
