Elaine Smith

Elaine Call Smith, 94, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born in Mocksville, NC on December 12, 1916 to the late Samuel Milton and Ruth Rollins Call. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton B. Smith; her parents, and a son, Clayton B. Smith, Jr..



She is survived by one son, Milton Call Smith and wife, Doodle Myers Smith of Charlotte; one daughter, Cherry S. Mitchell and husband, William R. Mitchell of Cary; daughter-in-law, Jenene C. Smith of Wilmington; sister, Marjorie Call Cardenas of Texas; devoted friend and caregiver, Betty Green of Wilmington, seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Woodard of Myrtle Beach, Forrest Mitchell of Wilmington, Holly M. Joyce of Winston Salem, Clayton B. Smith,III, Samuel C. Smith, Walter M. Smith all of Wilmington and Cliff C. Smith of Charlotte and 17 great grandchildren.



A graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Old Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.



In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one\\'s choice.
