Elizabeth Priest

Elizabeth Caraway Guyton Priest, 97, of Council passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Jay Priest, her parents, Joseph Guyton and Monnie King Guyton, one sister, Isabell and two brothers, Joe and Ray Guyton. She is survived by three sons: John W. Priest Jr. and his wife Anita of Plano, Texas; Joseph G. Priest of Wrightsville Beach; and David L. Priest and wife Karen Lomax Priest of Elizabethtown, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Carvers Creek United Methodist Church in Council, NC with Pastor May Craven officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and invite you to join them for lunch in the church fellowship hall.
