Ella Ellis

Ella Glen Ellis, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Ruby Ellis; two sisters: Mary Ellis Bryan and Lela Ellis Compton. Ella is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ella was always grateful and happy with her little smile and every visit was greatly appreciated. She always cared for everyone else before herself. Losing her mother before the tender age of 10, her sister, Mary, stepped in and played a big part in her life. Ella had great memories of her younger years, and loved sharing stories of being in a loving family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 12-1pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service at 1pm. Rev. Jim Mitchell will be officiating services. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in White Oak.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made for the upkeep of West Cemetery in White Oak.
