Ella Thompson

Ella Mae Thompson, 87, of Elizabethtown passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Nathaniel and Lela Foley Gibson, one sister, Hannah Dennis and two brothers, Rev. Orbon Gibson and Rushian James Gibson..

She is survived by one son, Clarence "Buddy" Moore of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Lela Cook of Elizabethtown and Gail Moore of Dillon, SC; two sisters, Dorothy Pervine of Elizabethtown and Georgie White of Hampstead; six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 am at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
