Elma Storms

Elma Grey Storms of Bladenboro, North Carolina died on New Year's Day, January 1, 2013. Born in Bladen County, she was the beloved only daughter of the late Raymond and Smithie Phelps.



Surviving are her devoted husband, Howard Storms; Daughters Amelia Hopkins and husband Barry of Greensboro, NC.; Joy Grady and husband Gary of White Lake, NC.; Granddaughters Ann- Marie Parker and husband John Parker of Southern Shores, NC and Ryan Elizabeth Grady of Raleigh, NC.



A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Bladenboro. Afterwards, a family visitation and reception will be held in the church fellowship hall.



Mrs. Storms bequeathed her remains for medical education and research to Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bladenboro, PO Box 176, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
