Emma Davis

Emma Lee Russ Davis, 87, of Clarkton passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Russ and Lithia Evers Russ, her husband, Henry Carlton Davis, three brothers: Curtis Russ, Fletcher Russ and Ervin Russ, four sisters: Winnie Thompkins, Thelma Davis, Shirley Baxley, and Myrtle Blackmon, and two daughters, Wanda Jane Haigler (Jerry) and Madie Davis Bullard (Lloyd). Emma leaves behind one daughter, Linda Faye Britt (Morris) of Clarkton; four grandchildren: Melinda Batten, Gail Prevatte Francis, Cindy Prevatte Cranford and  Bradley Smith, and three great grandchildren: Landon Batten, Brittney and Brandon Francis.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 3 pm in the chapel with Rev. Charlie Tatum officiating. Burial will follow the services in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in White Oak. All attendees are asked to wear mask and practice social distancing.
