Emma Smith

April 29, 1913 — June 4, 2009

Emma Blanche Cain Smith,96, of White Oak entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center.



Mrs. Smith was born in Bladen county April 29, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Jessup and Ila Cliffton Cain.



Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Empie Lester Smith; three sisters, and two brothers.



Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Wynette Todd and husband, John L., of Shallotte and Minnie \\"Mickey\\" Johnson and husband, E.C., of Ivanhoe; one sister, Ruth Jordan of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.



A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Suggs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Kinlaw officiating.

Visitation will follow after the service in the church.
