Estelle Johnson

Estelle Smith Johnson, 80, of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County on June 17, 1931 to the late Clarence L. and Letha Victoria Smith.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Earl Johnson; three sisters, Esteline Allbright, Elmarie Davenport and Letha Pearl Matheson; one brother, Howard Smith.



She is survived by one son, Joey Johnson and wife Kristen of Fayetteville; two brothers, Billy Curtis Smith of Elizabethtown and Jimmy Leon Smith of Bladenboro; one sister, Esther Oliver of Bladenboro; two grandchildren, Alaina Morgan Johnson and Kaitlyn Presley Johnson.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hazel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Whiteville.
