Eugene Hester

Eugene Hester, 81, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2011.



Mr. Hester served in the US Army and the Navy Reserve.



He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma Lee Johnson Hester and Cape Hester; his wife Geneva; three brothers, Paul, James, and Eddis Hester; and one sister, Eunice Hayes.



He is survived by two daughters, Janet Roberts and husband, Gary, of Bladenboro and Brenda Peregoy of Dunn; and five grandchildren, Leah, Erin, Jonathan, John and Collin.



The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, from 6-8 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday, May 7, at 2:00 PM at Roberts Family Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Hardin officiating.
