Ewell Robeson

Ewell C. Robeson, 91, of Dublin, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.



Mr. Robeson was born to William Robeson and Mamie Burney Robeson on August 12, 1915. He was a farmer for many years.



Mr. Robeson is survived by his wife, Isabelle of the home; sons, Allan Robeson and wife Linda of Dawsonville, GA, Tim Robeson and wife Tish of Raleigh, Leon Robeson and wife, Maria of Plano, Texas, and Robert Robeson of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Ellen Whitmill and husband Bill of Cypress Lakes, Judy Hehl of Dublin, Sharon Robeson of Durham, Cathy Atkinson of Dublin, Anita Boney and husband Urel of Clinton, and Jane Singletary of Bladenboro; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.



The visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home, Elizabethtown. The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, at Singletary United Methodist Church, Dublin, NC with Rev. Patrick Sinclair, Rev. Henry Lee, and Mr. Lynn King officiating. Burial will follow in a family cemetery on Hwy 87 W. The cemetery is located across from the residence.



In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Singletary United Methodist Church, Dublin, NC.
