Floyd Pait

Floyd Paul Pait, 77, of Bladenboro, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at his home.



Mr. Pait was born to John and Ada Pait on September 25, 1928. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Pait was a faithful member of Galeed Baptist Church, Bladenboro for more than sixty years.



Mr. Pait is preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Ada Pait; and his wife, Velma Ward Pait.



Mr. Pait is survived by his daughters, Paula Kinlaw and her husband Michael of Bladenboro, NC, and Alice Smith and her husband Steven of Bladenboro; sisters, Ruby Carter and Betty Thompson, both of Bladenboro; and three grandchildren, Madison Fisher, Peyton Fisher, and Mason Smith.



The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, at Galeed Baptist Church, Bladenboro with Rev. Bruce Cannon and Rev. Bert Young officiating. The visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, at Bladen Funeral Home, Elizabethtown and at other times at the home. The burial will be in Galeed Baptist Church Cemetery.
