Frances Kinlaw Brown, 79, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Frances was born on November, 24, 1941 to the late Henry “Bud” and Madie Hester Kinlaw. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Little E; three sisters, Grace Solomon; Judy Morse; Linda Lee Kinlaw and two brothers, Robert Kinlaw and Leonard Kinlaw.
Frances' life was all about her family. She loved them dearly but most of all, she loved spoiling those grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frances had many hobbies, pulling weeds out of her flower beds, sun bathing on her back porch and picking off peanuts at her brother, Clifton’s house. While she enjoyed cooking for her family, she would always give them advice when they came over to eat or just for a visit. Her favorite place to eat was Pier 41. Frances gentle smile and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two sons, Ray Brown and Clayton (Dottie) Brown of Bladenboro; daughter Lee Ann Herring of Bladenboro; brother, Clifton Kinlaw of Bladenboro; sister, Kay Prevatte of Evergreen; eight grandchildren, Lauren Herring; Joseph Brown (Shana); Blake Brown (Temperance); Ashlynn Brown; Heather Phillips; Zack, Hunter and Ethan (Katie) Willoughby and ten great-grandchildren.
A public walk- thru visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Bladenboro. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Singletary Cemetery on Old Boardman RD. with Rev. Kevin Kinlaw officiating.
