Frances Clark

Frances Cain Clark, a lifetime resident of Elizabethtown, NC passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020. She was born in Elizabethtown, NC on December 3, 1926. Frances was preceded in death by her lifetime sweetheart and husband H. Manly Clark Jr. and parents, Mamie Johnson and Clarence Cain. She is survived by her daughter and son; Ann Clark Ramsay and husband, Kerr Craige Ramsay II, Haddon M. Clark III and wife, Irma Sorrell Clark. Frances is also survived by her grandchildren, Kerr Ramsay and wife Palmer, John Ramsay and wife Annie, Manly Clark and wife Megan, Philip Clark, and Sydney Clark.She loved talking about her six great grandchildren: Walker, Ford, Whitlow, Cecilia, Laine and Lawson.

Frances attended East Carolina University. She was a lifetime member of Elizabethtown Baptist Church. She loved teaching Sunday School and being involved in the community.

The family will hold an outdoor graveside service on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Elizabethtown City Cemetery in Elizabethtown, NC.
