Franklin Taylor

Franklin "Gene" Taylor, 69, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ola Taylor, three sisters: Nancy Ezzell, Myrtle Hendren, and Evelyn Taylor; and one son-in-law Jack Holt. He is survived by his wife Joan Taylor of the home, one son Frankie Taylor and wife Jennifer of Bladenboro, two daughters: Renee Fonvielle and husband Charles of Bladenboro and Betty Holt of Rocky Point, one brother Harold Taylor and wife Cathy of Lumberton, one sister Elizabeth Speights and husband Curtis of Lumberton, four grandchildren: Lindsey Dicicco, Austin Carroll, Chase Taylor, and Lauren Taylor and two great grandchildren: Abigaill Dicicco and Elijah Dicicco.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45 pm on Monday, July 29, 2013 at New Light Church in Bladenboro. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dale Hester and Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will be after services at Memory Lane Cemetery in Bladenboro.
Mr. Franklin "Gene" Taylor loved his family, especially his wife Joan of 49 years. He enjoyed going to church, listening to gospel music, fishing and car racing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
