Frederick Miller

Frederick Wayne Miller,Sr., 77, of Council, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was born in Washington, DC on July 15, 1933. Mr. Miller was a Navy veteran.



He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Frederick Miller and Edith Katherine Johnson Miller.



He was survived by his wife of 56 years, Harriet Fowler Miller, of the home; three sons, Wayne Miller of Florida, Roger Miller of York, PA, and John Miller of Council; one daughter Cindy Tominovich and husband,Gary of Gathersburg, Maryland; one brother, Ray Miller of New Athens, Ohio; two sisters, Linda Watkinson and Louise Hall, both of Maryland; and seven grandchildren.



A private burial will be held at Sandhills Veteran Cemetery, Wednesday May 25th at 10:00am. A memorial service will be held at Lisbon Baptist Church Thursday, May 26th at 3:00 pm with Rev. Wade McLamb officiating.



In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department, 4455 Rosindale Rd, Clarkton, NC 28434.
