George Hill Sr.

George Alton Hill Sr. 78, of Bladenboro passed away on February 11, 2015. Mr. Hill was born on January 4, 1937 to the late Albert Jesse and Kinnie Simmons Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Delma Gray Hester Hill; daughter, Cheryl Denise West; two brothers, Tommy and James Hill; and one sister, Lola Mae Grainger.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00pm
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 am from Community Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Ohlman officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia E. Hill of the home; son George Alton Hill Jr. and wife Christina of St. Pauls; step daughters, Carole Edge; Belinda Ratcliffe; Susan Brisson; three brothers, Billy, Timmy, and Gerald Hill; four sisters, Shirley Bryan; Faye Register; Ann Lee; and Nadine Dowless; three grandchildren and eleven step grandchildren and one great step grandchildren.
