George Mcdaniel

George Henry McDaniel, United States Navy Veteran of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the age of 93. He was a retired mechanic with the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alma Dowless McDaniel, his wife, Wilhelmina McDaniel, five brothers Flavius, Herman, Edwin, Forrest and Hughlon McDaniel, and three sisters Sally Virginia, Angelina Parker and Joann Parker. George is survived by his daughter Tina McDaniel of Elizabethtown, one sister Marie Davis of Elizabethtown, three grandchildren Hunter Guyton, Tiffany G. Rogers, and Erin “Emmie” Sawyer, and three great grandchildren Rylee White, Adelynn Patterson, and Eli Guyton.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. The services will conclude in the Allen Cemetery in Dublin.
