George Pait

George David Pait, 78 of Bladenboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
George was born on May 4, 1938, in Bladenboro, NC. He grew up in the Bladenboro/Clarkton area and graduated from Clarkton High School in 1956. He was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed helping others and many people in his community were blessed by his handyman skills. George was a Christian who accepted Christ as his Savior when he was a child and made a total commitment to Christ in 1995.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wilson and Sarah Bradshaw Pait; a brother, Kirby Lee Pait; his grandparents, David Timothy, Jr. and Cornelia Callihan Pait and George Lennon and Hattie Ward Bradshaw.

He is survived by one son, Eugene Randall Pait (Randy), Bladenboro, NC; two brothers, Bobby G. Pate and wife Joyce, Durham, NC and Claybourn L. Pait, Sr. and wife Patricia, Pearl City, HI; one sister Joyce Pait Ellis and husband Philip R. Ellis, Ooltewah, TN; many nieces and nephews and his friend and former wife, Millie Elkins Thompson, Bladenboro, NC.

The family will receive friends at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown on Sunday, July 3 from 3:00-3:45 pm. Funeral services will be held at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 4 pm with Rev. Boyd Britt officiating. Interment will be in Bullard Cemetery, Bladenboro, NC.
