Gladys Cain

Gladys Marie Hall Cain, 56 of Bladenboro passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sara Hall and one brother, Clarence Thomas Hall. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Ronnie Cain of the home, one son, Jeffery Cain and wife Naomi of Fair Bluff, one daughter Lisa Baker and husband Terry Baker II of Elizabethtown, one sister Judy Davenport of Elizabethtown and two granddaughters, Destiny Baker and Caroline Cain.

Gladys was a beautiful person, inside and out. She always had a smile on her face and a joyful spirit in her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, her children, her grandchildren and numerous family members and friends . Gladys also enjoyed fishing, crafts and gardening. She was known for her quick wit and charm and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 3 pm at Grace Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Arthur Smith officiating. Burial will follow the services in Kelly Cemetery in Bladenboro.
