Gladys Corbett

Gladys Corbett, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, October 13, 2006 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.



Born March 5, 1924 in Bladen County, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Georgia Melvin.



Ms. Corbett is predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Russ; her second husband, Harry Corbett, Sr.; and a son, Roy Lee Russ.



She is survived by sons, Larry Russ and wife, Rosalie of Elizabethtown and Tony Corbett of Wilmington; daughter, Linda M. Bell and husband Bill of Wilmington; sister, Betty Traynham of Wilmington; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, at Suggs Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Suggs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
