Grace Russ

Grace Evelyn Russ, 87, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 13, 2007.

She was born in Bladen County on November 16, 1919 to George and Either Hood.

Mrs. Russ was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Thomas Clyde Russ, Jr.; one son, Thomas Clyde Russ, III; and one grandson, Eddie Russ.

She is survived by four sons, Edward Ronnie Russ of Jacksonville, N.C., Joseph Wayne Russ of Elizabethtown, PA, Samuel Maurice Russ of Clarkton, N.C., and Charles Terry Russ of Bladenboro, N.C.; two daughters, Evelyn Diane Bryan and Miriam Elizabeth Bryan, both of Bladenboro, N.C.; one brother, G.L. Hood of Clarkton, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Tina Lane, Kendra McCarthy, Kyle Russ, Kevin Babson, Brook Storms, Ryan Russ, Brent Russ, Michelle Strychaski, and Mellisa Mervine; and eleven great-grandchildren, Bryanna Lane, Marley Lane, Breilie Russ, Morgan Babson, Heartly Storms, Laci Storms, Blake Babson, Chandler Russ, Dalton Russ, T.J. Strychaski, and Conner Mervine.

Visitation is planned for Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 at Bladen Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The funeral will be Monday, January 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Bladen Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. The burial will follow the service at Pinecrest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
