Gregory Strickland

Gregory Preston Strickland, 57, of White Lake, NC passed away Thursday. March 23, 2017. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Harvey G. Strickland. Gregory is survived by his mother, Ramona M. Strickland, wife Carol Chandler Strickland, two sons Chandler Strickland and Matthew Strickland and one sister Teresa Strickland Hardee and husband Daryl, all of White Lake.

Gregory loved his family dearly, especially his two sons, of whom he was so proud. He had a heart for people, always concerned of how others were doing and often called to see if things were okay or just to chat about the weather. Gregory loved good cooking and nature. He also enjoyed making others laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Elizabethtown Baptist Church Fellowship Hall followed by a memorial service at 3 pm in church sanctuary. Dr. David Elks and Rev. Nathan Morton will officiate the services. Burial will take place following services in the Melvin Family Cemetery at White Lake.
