Grover Bryan

G. Hubert Bryan, age 81 of Clarkton, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bryan was the owner of Carolina Building Supplies of North Myrtle Beach for fifteen years. He is preceded in death by his parents Grover Carson Bryan and Alma Hester Bryan; three sisters, Evelyn Edwards, Lucille Rippy and Magdaline Bordeaux; and two brothers, James Albert Bryan and Frankie Bryan.



He is survived by his wife, Calista Bryan of the home; a son McRae Bryan and wife Linda of Sunset Beach; a daughter, Sharon Chadwick and husband Gary of Wilmington; three brothers, Bennie Earl Bryan of Ocean Isle, G.C. Bryan of Bladenboro, and Robert Bryan of Myrtle Beach; and five grandchildren, McRae Bryan II, Ashley McRae Bryan, Corey Bryan, Bryan Chadwick and Logan Chadwick.



The family will receive friends on Monday, February 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 15 at Clarkton First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Roy Walker. Burial will follow the service at Clarkton Cemetery.
