Mr. Wood was a Navy veteran.

Services: Funeral, 3 p.m. Monday in Carvers Creek United Methodist Church. Burial in church cemetery.

Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, August 13, at Bladen Funeral Home.

Survived by wife, Linda; son, Romaro; daughter, Loraine Atkinson; brothers, Donald and Neil; two sisters, Wanda and Cherry; and a grandchild.
