Helen Sparkman

Helen Christine Sparkman, 88, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Colon L. Sparkman. Christine is survived by daughter: Sherry Hester (Norgie) of Elizabethtown; son: Edward "Eddie" Sparkman of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren: Ray Sparkman, Christie Nye, Scott Hinson (Nicole), Beverly Hardee (Jim), Karen Pope (Michael); eight great-grandchildren: Charlotte Nye, Hailee Nye, Collin Hinson, Joseph Pope, Joshua Pope, Georgia Pope, Fisher Hardee, Jackson Hardee and one great, great grandchild: Parker Smith. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to five great caregivers: Pam Cassady, Shawntell Cromartie, Mattie Monroe, Tammy Bolton, and Vonetta Beatty.

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
