Hilda Bryan

Hilda Garner Bryan, 81, of Dublin entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the great grandchildren brought new life to her in her older age. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Cecil Garner, brother Royal Garner and her son Carl Bryan. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 years, Lelmer C Bryan of the home; a daughter Freda White and husband Dale White of Elizabethtown; 4 grand-daughters, Missy Wells and husband Andy of Rose Hill, Jennifer Hair and husband Kory of Elizabethtown, Denise White of Elizabethtown, Amy Reeves and husband Benjamin of Whiteville; 3 great grandchildren, Jaxon Hair, Lilly Wells, and Brian Reeves. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12th from 6-8 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, April, 13th at 4:00 pm at Dublin First Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery on Bethel Church Rd., Dublin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Columbus County Angel House Hospice Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail Drive, Whiteville, NC 28472.
