Homer Clyde Pait

Homer Clyde Pait, 83, of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1941 to the late Wilton D. Pait and Elma Burney Pait in Bladen County. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teressa Lynn Pait and one brother Donald Pait. 

Homer leaves behind his daughters: Kimberly O’Neal and husband Patrick of Greensboro, Latesha Zurcher and husband Ben of Lumberton; son, Elijah Clyde Pait; brother, Durham Pait and wife Rosella of Bladenboro; sisters: Patsy Burr, Ethel Lee Kinlaw and Sherry Long, all of Bladenboro; seven grandchildren: Braylon Jones (Kaitlyn), Zackary Jones, Emma Jones, Sean O’Neal, Connor O’Neal, Mason Pait, Elizabeth Pait and great-grandson, Briggs Jones.

Homer was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Some of his hobbies were fishing and watching NASCAR on TV. When a race wasn’t on, you could find him outside watching the birds and feeding the squirrels. Homer will forever live on in the memories of his loved ones and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45pm on Friday, September 13th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service at 3pm. Burial will follow the service in the New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro.
