Horace Butler

Horace Winfred Butler, 96, of Elizabethtown passed away Friday, September 22, 2017.He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille B. Butler, son James Winfred Butler, daughter Daisy Norris and two sons-in-law: Terry Norris and Pat Brisson. Horace is survived by two daughters Lynda Gray Brisson of Dublin and Wanda Lewis and husband Johnnie of Clarkton; nine grandchildren: Marchelle Butler, Michelle Brisson, Scarlett Brisson, David Brisson, Becky Smith, Rocky Norris, Jennifer Roach, Chris and Jason Lewis, 15 great grandchildren: Nathan, Amelia and Kaitlyn Brisson, Christopher Butler, Courtney and Madison Smith, Kayla and Kolby Norris, Mackenzie, Braylin, and Addison Roach, Ethan and Kayla Lewis, Braxton and Madilyn Lewis; two great-great grandchildren: Cade Rogers and Courtlyn Smith.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A private burial will be at a later date. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Lynda Brisson, 57 Hershey St., Dublin, NC.
