Isaac Wilkins

Isaac "Ike" Wilkins, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jeff and Ozo Wilkins; three brothers: Sidney, Joe, and Nash Wilkins; three sisters: Sarah Wilkins, Wilma Ray Brisson and Alice Pait. Ike is survived by his wife: Lucille Wilkins of the home; two sons: John Wilkins of Ft. Payne, Alabama, Glenn Wilkins and wife Crissy of Elizabethtown; two brothers: Glenn Wilkins of Tar Heel, Knox Wilkins of St. Pauls; sister: Mary Elizabeth Guyton of Bladenboro; five grandchildren: Tyler Wilkins, Kirkland Smith, Bronson Brisson, Alexis Wilkins, Alaina Wilkins; two great-grandchildren: Alaina Wilkins and Clayton Smith.

Before his retirement, Ike was a staff sergeant in the United States Army serving as a radar mechanic. He loved his family and the military dearly. Ike was a strong and selfless man that never complained even though he was sick. He was always there for others with a helping hand and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, May, 14, 2018 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. O'Neal Parker officiating service. Burial will follow in the Bladen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
