Jack Thompson

Jack Thomas Thompson, 69, of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mayo Thompson, three sisters, Carleen Heath, Georgia Howard, and Annette Hardison. Survivors include: wife, Dianne Batten Thompson of the home, one son, Jack Thompson Jr (Rebecca) of Bladenboro, two daughters, Vanessa Fields (Michael) of Bladenboro, Renee Clark and husband Rusty of Clarkton, two brothers, Billy Thompson of Lexington, NC, Bobby Thompson of Trinity, NC, one sister, Christine Lamb of Florida. Seven grandchildren: Amanda, Marcus, Hollie, Jessica, Chassidy, Hannah, and Zachary. Three great-grandchildren: Issac, Elizabeth, and Jaylin, and all his nieces and nephews. Also a very important part of our family James Blackwell, Larry Norris, Josh Weathers, and Randy Cain.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 pm in Clarkton Cemetery in Clarkton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Liberty HomeCare and Hospice Services, 46 McNeill Plaza, Whiteville NC 28472.
