Jackie Garner, Sr.

Jackie M. Garner, Sr., 80, Air Force veteran of Elizabethtown passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, L.D. and Lena Hester Garner. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of the home; two sons, Jackie Madison Garner Jr. and Mark Allen Garner and wife Tammy both of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Emily Marie Wicker and husband Nick of Chesapeake Va.; one brother, Steve Garner of Winston Salem; three sisters, Shirley Jernigan of Fayetteville, Bobbi Myers of Charlotte and Dianne Garner of Raleigh; one grandson, Justin Garner; three granddaughters, Jessica Garner, MacKenzie and Mia Wicker and one great grandson, Grayson Garner. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 10:00 am at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown, with Anthony Corbett officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you would make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans or the Boys and Girls Home at Lake Waccamaw.
