James Bridgers

James “Glenn” Bridgers, 57 of Clarkton passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his home. He was born on May, 9, 1962 to James Clark and Joan Britt Bridgers. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Britt Bridgers and nephew, John Channing West.

Glenn is survived by his two sons, James Howard Bridgers of Clarendon; Kristopher Glenn Bridgers of Clarkton; his father, James Bridgers of the home; three sisters, Nancy Heustess and husband Jack of Clarkton; Tanya White and husband Randy of Whiteville; Sue Harrington and husband Tommy of Clarkton; two grandchildren; Jaxson Bridgers; Rylie Ford; nephew, Joshua Harrington; nieces, Brittany Kelly and husband Kendal; Dakota Lennon and husband Wesley; one great nephew, Liam Lennon and two great nieces, Rayne and Sadie Kelly.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 am at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Barry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarkton Cemetery.
