James W. Cain of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 23, 2008.
Mr. Cain was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked for Walane Gas Co. before retiring.
James was an avid baseball fan. He was a player for the Bladenboro Spinners.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 3:00pm at Lennon\\'s Cross Roads Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Senter officiating. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery in Butters.
The family will receive friends March 24, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen Funeral Home at all other times at the home of Linda and Charles Ellis.
Mr. Cain is survived by his daughter, Linda Ellis and husband Charles of Bladenboro; his son Jim Cain and wife Barbara of Orrum; a sister, Eva Cashwell of Abbottsburg; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
