James Campbell, of Clarkton, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at his home.



Arrangements to be announced.James Julian Campbell, 75, of Clarkton, NC died Friday, October 27, 2006 at his home.



Born in Bladen County on July 25, 1931, Mr. Campbell was the son of Julian Jerome and Nellie Ruth Campbell.



Mr. Campbell is predeceased by his wife, Elsie McCulloch Campbell.



He is survived by his daughters, Renee Horton of Elizabethtown, and Cheryl Campbell of Fayetteville; brothers, Felton Campbell and Jerry Campbell of Clarkton; sisters, Etta Gray Hall of Hope Mills, Elizabeth Ann McDonald of Albemarle, Nina Ruth Dickson of Salisbury, and Sandra McKeithan of Clarkton; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2006 at Clarkton Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul Layton and Mr. Jim Barlett, CLP officiating. A private burial will be held at Brown Marsh Cemetery.
