James Gibson

James Gibson, 84 of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. He was born on April 29, 1934 to the late Wilbert Lonnie and Alma Mae Autry Gibson. James is preceded in death by his parents, wife LaRay Gibson; daughter, Darlene Gibson; three brothers, Jack, W.L, and Buddy Gibson; two sisters, Mattie Jane Feltwell and Christine Smith.
James is survived by his son, Ronald Gibson and wife Sheree of Stanley; two daughters, Kim Gibson Page and husband John of Wilmington; Tammy Gibson Wagner and husband Benji of Lumberton; his brother, Willis Ray Gibson of Bladenboro; two sisters, Carol Jean Hewitt of Elizabethtown, Eula Mae Packer of Bladenboro; five grandchildren, Knox Gibson, Alex Merritt, Madison and McKenize Page and Seth Wagner.

The family will receive friends on Thursday night at Antioch Baptist Church from 6: 00 until 7:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Mark Meadows and Rev. Kevin Kinlaw officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 2 pm at McKinnon Cemetery in Bladenboro. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Abbottsburg Baptist Church, 309 Bradshaw Rd.
