James Guy

James "Buddy" Guy, 54, of Guy's Body Shop in Elizabethtown passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013. He is survived by his wife Polly Davis Guy, of the home, one son James Guy and wife Melissa of Clinton, four daughters: Jessica Guy of Clinton, Krystal Smith of Garland, Kristy Nobles of Clinton, and Jill Cardona of Clinton; one sister Ann Faircloth and husband Roger of Salemburg and two grandchildren.

Buddy was a giving person who never met a stranger. He was a father figure to a lot of children other than his own. Picking with people and making them laugh was a gift of his. He wanted to give to people while expecting nothing in return. He organized many benefit rides for many people in need. He was a wonderful person that will never be forgotten.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home from 2:00 to 2:45 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm with Rev. Eckie Lancaster, Rev. Ron Davis, and Rev. Dale Taylor officiating.
