James Hester

James Henry Hester, 74, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Hester, parents, Henry Wilton Hester and Alma Pait Hester, one daughter, Linda Williams, one son in law, Durryl Deaver; two grandchildren: James Mark Williams and Madison Rabon. James leaves behind three sons: James Hester (Kiera), Bobby Rabon (Samantha) and Dalton Hester, all of Bladenboro; two daughters, Kelly Deaver of Bladenboro, and Kimberly Hester of Bladenboro, one brother, Mickey Hester of South Carolina, one sister, Sue Lutz of Bladenboro, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and special friend, Kathy Buffkin of Bladenboro.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, February 8th in the Singletary Cemetery at Butters with Rev. Oneil Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home of Kelly Deaver, 345 Berry Lewis, Bladenboro, NC 28320. Face masks and social distancing practices are recommended.
