James Powers

James Franklin “Frank” Powers, 66, of Bladenboro passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “Tommy” Powers and Esther Carter Powers and one brother, Tommy Ray Powers. Frank leaves behind one sister, Ann Marie McGee of Denton, NC; one brother Kenneth E. Powers (Deborah) of Bladenboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Frank worked as a heating and air electrician for many years with several different companies. He was a private person who enjoyed working on his truck and mowing his lawn. He loved his family and enjoyed the times they spent together. He will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen Gaskins in Bladenboro. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Hogwallow Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Arthur Smith officiating.
